PIANIST
At the age of 6, Elias began his piano lessons at the music school in his hometown of Weißenstein, Carinthia Austria.
Just two years later, at the age of 8, Elias was accepted at the University Mozarteum Salzburg and studied piano with Prof. Claudius Tanski and with Prof. Cordelia Höfer-Teutsch. Currently Elias is studying piano at the Mozarteum University with Johannes Wilhelm among others. In addition, Elias is being introduced to the art of improvisation and composition by pianist Galina Vracheva. Elias is studying orchestral conducting with Martin Fuchsberger at the Gustav Mahler Private University of Music.
He also attends master classes, for example with Elisabeth Leonskaja.
His special talent soon enabled Elias to give numerous concerts and he won numerous international prizes, such as: Grand Prize, International Youth Music Competition / USA, 1st Prize, London Young Musician of the Year 2020/21 / UK, 1st Prize Great Masters International Piano Competition - Vladimir Horowitz Edition , Winner ORF Show "Goldene Note" / AUT, and many more. Soon he was a guest in numerous prime time TV shows with prominent presenters such as Thomas Gottschalk and Johannes B. Kerner.
He completed concert tours to Japan, the USA and Germany, where he performed with a number of renowned soloists, including Elina Garanca, Daniela Fally, Jan Vogler and Daniel Mueller-Schott - or repeatedly performs with the chamber ensembles of the Vienna Philharmonic.
In addition to his extensive concert activities, he played the role of 11 year old Franz Liszt in the movie "Beethoven X/AI" in 2020 and released his first album entitled "Tir N'a Noir" in 2022. In the coming months, he has a tour of a Beethoven sonata cycle coming up as well as a concert series of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, appearances on TV shows, filming for a TV special and much more.
Elias is a pianist, musician, composer and citizen of the world of the 21st century and wants to further develop music and its presentation - in the spirit of all his revered greats of the past.
His first solo album, titled "Tir n`a Noir", was released on November 11, 2022, by the renowned Austrian record label Preiser Records. It is an international production featuring German producer/composer Matthias Schmitt and Norsk Musikforlag AS, the largest music publisher in Norway.
There are 8 music videos showcasing works from the album, which demonstrate Elias's great artistic presence. The album includes three original compositions by Elias, a personal premiere, as well as works by Schmitt, Staveland, Madsen, and Kverndokk, showcasing his virtuosity and creative versatility.
